DigitalNomad Life
In January 2023 I was talking casually to my boss about my lease ending soon and not being sure where I was going to live. Since my company didn't have a SF office, he said he didn't care where I worked. So I went to Ecuador for a month and no one seemed to notice or care. Then I went to Peru for a month with the same result. So I put all my stuff in storage and took off. Since the start of this adventure in Ecuador and Peru, I've been to Argentina 3x, China 4x, Korea, Japan, Colombia, Georgia (Eastern EU), Armenia, Italy, Mexico and traveled around the U.S.
Working remotely has been an amazing experience in many ways. I have adjusted to calls and meetings at odd times, but for the most part, as long as the Internet is strong, work is no different than in the U.S. I've always traveled internationally a lot for work, but the opportunity to live in a country for a month or two at a time is fantastic.
